popcorn animation

Ive made my animation ALMOST! i need to make little tweaks to it where I've made mistakes.
i have a small intro, the popcorn being heated, it popping, and when its done!

Sainsburys Christmas Advert
The clip was about a cat called Mog, who saved his families christmas, by accidentally called the fire department after he had a bad dream and switched the cooker on, this led forward and ruined the house, after that the fire department came and friends and locals came and helped them have good christmas.

Silly Symphony- Santa Workshop
Silly Symphony is a short christmas musical made by walk disney. it shows us the story of how the Elfs make the presents at Christmas, the colour and sound made a huge difference as in some parts they used the same animation scene, and the colour helped as well as it brought the emotion. The common stereotypes that were used were kids wanting everything and santa being jolly which is acceptable.

Silly Symphony - A night before christmas
We then watched another film which was made by the same company as last time. They used the same snow animation as the last one, they also used lots of new animation which made it more believable and more entertaining. The colour that they used on the houses and on the toys were good as it brought out the christmas spirit a lot more, They sound they used was a lot more simple than the last one as the only dialect used was Santa's laugh and a babies sneeze. A lot of stereotypes were children being clumsy and reference of bottoms a lot.

Santa Claus is Coming 
the final clip that we watched was made by flash, it started with a christmas feel and when the girl went to go and see santa downstairs, santa is referred as a creature that eats anything left out for it and makes his own presents. colour an sound are good but the sound was slacking.

In todays lecture we also looked at animation for ourselves

Adobe flash has a text tool, so i wrote my name and made it move down the page, then i inserted a photo of a few dollar signs and a dollar and made them move across the page, the dollar signs got bigger as they moved

The Forest

In todays lecture we looked at a short film called The Forest, it was made by David Scharf using 3D CGI animation. The story behind the film is of a 12 year old girl that lives in a small apartment with a strict father which tries to show her the actions of life. She got put into a therapist after she was expelled from school, she wakes up to the real world and retaliates, and tries to cancel all technology but fails and gets put away
