FMP - VLOG

For my FMP i had to make a VLOG to refelct on the process/progress of my FMP. In the VLOG i talked about  what i have completed so far and what i need to do still. The video of my VLOG is below.

FMP - ID Number: 501349 Trailer (Short Film)

On monday i made a trailer for my FMP. The trailer contained lots of short clips to keep the mommentum flowing. I used the Adobe premier package to edit the piece and this is the final result of the trailer.

FMP - Primary Research

For my primary search, i created a questionnaire
for my college class to fill out.

The questionnaire is based on short films for my
FMP, It started with a few simple questions like Gender and age of the class then i asked what thier favourite genre is.


I used this data to plan my FMP and what i need to know. Most of my audience were male and were aged 16 - 20 and alot of the people in my class chose action as a genre .

Receiving this information from my questionnaire was really influential when going to my FMP as most of what my audience chose was what i was looking for when planning my film.

FMP - Relevant Skills

 RELEVANT SKILLS

For my FMP i will  doing a shortt film based on gang members being tracked down by SAS soldiers. If i am going to carry this film out sucessfully i will have to look at the relevent skills when it comes to directing actors, Filming and Sound recording.

Directing - i will be needing to learn how to communicate with all members of the film to instruct them to do things. I will also need to find out how my actors and cast are going eat and drink. For this i will need planning

Filming - I will be needing to learn how to communicate with the new actors in my film, which are new to the scene. I will be going through what i want with the new actors and hopefully get the scenes done in the first couple takes + i will need to learn how to do a tracking shot and how to keep the camera stead by hand.

Sound Recording - I will be needing to learn how to film with the microphone but not getting the mic in shot.

Editing - I will be needing to lear editing skills to make it all fit in without mistakes, i will need to earn how to zoom in and it look professional

The basic group is known as a family, clan, or cosca or "cosche" in Sicilian.  Each family claims power over a territory, usually a town or village or a neighbourhood of a large city.
The Mafia's power comes from its reputation of violence, particularly murder, against virtually anyone. Through reputation, mafiosi discourage their enemies and enemies of their clients. It allows mafiosi to protect a client without being physically present eg. as bodyguards or watchmen.

Murder: Murders are always carried out by members of the gang. It is unlikely for the Mafia to kill an outsider for a single job, and some people are liable to be killed soon afterwards because they become liabilities. Mafia violence is mostly directed at other Mafia families competing for territory and business.

SAS is a specialist group which are the best of the best. SAS stands for Special Air Service. They are one of Britains best military units in the country. The SAS was founded in 1941 as a regiment. The unit undertakes a number of roles including covert reconnaissance, counter-terrorism, direct action, hostage rescue and human intelligence gathering.

I also looked in the library and found a book about gang violence, i thought this would relate to my FMP as i can use the history and the present crimes to link into my short film
